About Me

Jesus gives my life meaning, and I can’t imagine going through life without Him. Married to my best friend Eric since 2006, I spend my days discipling Ian (15), Elijah (13), Arianna (11), Nicholas (9), Nathaniel (7), and Clara (5). This blog is a chronicle of that discipleship journey (A.K.A. homeschooling), with regular posts from the time Ian started preschool through about when he got to 3rd grade. Since that time, I've only posted sporadically, usually when I want to share things that have helped enrich what we're studying in Classical Conversations.

The most important thing to me is that my children are learning to follow Jesus. God's world is a wonderful place to explore, so whether we're reading the Bible, learning about another country, or experimenting with science, it's all for the glory of the Creator of all things. We want to seek out His Truth in all we do.

If you're curious about how we got started homeschooling, and why I do what I do, check out my first post from when we were just starting Ian's "preschool" years.

Thanks for visiting!
